3 Keys To Open The Door

How many times do you feel stuck in a situation without seeing the way out?

Have you ever experienced inconvenience and dissatisfaction in a relationship or at work but the fear of change was too much?

Or maybe you’re trying to change your life, to go beyond, but you’re afraid and you are tempted to let your dreams go?

Here are the 3 KEYS TO OPEN THE DOOR to having a fulfilling life, wonderful relationships and a career you want. The keys that you were looking for to overcome fear and open opportunities to the life you want:

1. change your perspective.

The fear of failure, of success, of change, of what you don’t know are very common emotions to experience when we begin to want more.

Breaking out of your comfort zone is essential but it can also be scary and, if faced with the same mentality as before, often gives rise to an obstinate tug-of-war between the security of your life now and the loss of any certainty chasing the life of your dreams.

To avoid feeling completely out of control you have to adopt another mentality and choose a different point of view.

Take a pen and a sheet paper and follow the steps below.

Start with this short exercise designed to expand your vision and consider new ways of looking at things. This is a simple and yet powerful tool that will open your eyes to a new world:

a. Think about what makes you really scared:

judgment from others? not feeling capable enough? your friends and your family not understanding you? risk? not being accepted for who you really are?

b. What lies behind your fear:

Write your 3 biggest fears.

Now stop for a while. What if all these situations were not real, but they were just excuses invented in your mind?

c. For every fear, answer these 3 questions:

  • Realistically what is the worst outcome possible if you confront this fear?
  • What is the best outcome?
  • What is the most likely outcome?

dNow that you have a set of views to choose from, it’s time to feel completely safe by creating your safety net, your parachute and plan b.

  • How can I deal with the most likely scenario?
  • What resources and tools do I need?
  • Who can assist or guide me?
  • What benefits will I get from choosing to take a step towards the life of my dreams?

Think and write the answers to these points and let the fear slip away and make room for a broadened vision with multiple solutions.

Would you really want to get to the end of your life to figure out you’re sacrificing your dreams on the altar of fear?2

2.Uproot weeds.

You have to weed your garden to allow the flowers to grow and flourish. Weeds are obstacles that present themselves in the form of limiting thoughts and emotions that must be cleaned up and disposed of.

Do you feel that heavy baggage of old experiences that you’re dragging around for years?

You don’t need that on this trip, it’s just dead weight.

Face those thoughts and emotions and beat them.

A bit like at school, when you moved to the next class you were supposed to have met the requirements of the previous one.

If you’re still carrying anger, resentment, guilt to yourself or someone else it’s time to let go of these emotions. They’re blocking your life and don’t let the abundance you want manifest. Let them go. Forgive. Forgive yourself and whoever hurt you. Do it for yourself. The more you are able to do it, the more your energy will begin to increase.

While all the weight of past problems and negative emotions will surface, little by little, you will feel your energy and awareness rising. As you become aware of blocking thoughts and emotions, remove them, layer by layer.

Remember, if these thoughts are manifested in the form of experience, they do not represent a kind of punishment or failure but are the opportunities you were looking for to address them differently and resolve them once and for all.

Being aware of this, you’re ready to change that thought and that situation. To react differently.

Every night acknowledge and celebrate your accomplishments and progress. Don’t forget that each challenge brings you closer to achieving your goals!

3. get out of the way and let life flow freely.

Stop trying to control everything by force and wanting things to happen at all costs.

Let your life flow freely.

By changing your mindset you will free yourself to be able to see opportunities that come your way.

You’ll connect with complete strangers, experts in your industry who will begin to talk to you and share ideas while you’re standing in line at the supermarket, a friend will make a comment that you will be able to seize upon, you’ll see a course made especially for you.

And that’s exactly how it will happen. The opportunities will find you.

It will begin when your calm, peace and happiness will take the place of fear, anxiety and restlessness.

Accept that you will not have control and be grateful of these much larger forces that shape your life.

When you let the life flow, everything becomes easier as you acknowledge the negatives and welcome positives.

Would you really want to get to the end of your life to figure out you’re sacrificing your dreams on the altar of fear?

I know, I know … doing this all by yourself, it’s so tiring and difficult.

And what if you weren’t alone? Start to OPEN THE DOOR and the rest will come!

Kindest Wishes, Micaela
